Recurrent Escherichia coli Urinary Tract Infection — Clinical Case: Resolution with CDS Protocol

Template:Clinical case

Case Summary

Male patient suffering from recurrent Escherichia coli urinary tract infections since 2019, presenting with fever, myalgia, headache, and general malaise. Prostatitis accompanied each episode with prostate antigen (PSA) rising from 3 to 18 ng/ml during the last event. Multiple antibiotic treatments provided only temporary relief before recurrence. Patient recommended for urethral surgery to eliminate lesions caused by infection. After CDS treatment, all symptoms resolved and PSA normalized to 1.5 ng/ml. Patient states: "I can't believe it."

Clinical History

Event date: 2019 to 2024

Geographic context: Mexico

Prior medical situation: Patient experienced multiple recurrent episodes of E. coli infection in urinary tract. Symptoms included fever, myalgia, headache, and general malaise. Prostatitis caused nocturia (waking up to urinate up to 8 times per night). PSA levels progressively increased from 3 to 18 ng/ml during the last event.

Medical interventions: 3-month antibiotic courses provided temporary relief followed by recurrence. Multiple different antibiotics were tried with increasing potency. Physician informed patient that no antibiotic remained capable of combating the pathogen. Surgical intervention via urethra was proposed to eliminate lesions caused by infection.

Treatment Applied

Protocol C: CDS oral drops administered consistently over extended period.

Protocol F: Protocol F15 used during acute symptom episodes.

Protocol E: Protocol E performed regularly for systemic treatment.

Protocol V: Protocol V used during nights.

Protocol P and Z: Protocol P and Protocol Z with Biotrohn® or Plasmatrohn® integrated for more efficient evolution.

Seawater intake: Added for remineralization.

Clinical Evolution

After CDS treatment: All symptoms resolved. PSA level normalized to 1.5 ng/ml (previously 18 ng/ml). Patient states: "I can't believe it." Surgical intervention was no longer necessary.

Laboratory Data

Before treatment: - PSA: 3 to 18 ng/ml (progressively increasing) - Recurrent E. coli positive cultures - Nocturia: 8 times per night

After treatment: - PSA: 1.5 ng/ml (normalized) - No recurrent infections reported - Patient functional without antibiotics

Testimony Original

Patient (Javier Ortega Gil): "In 2019, before the Covid pandemic, I had several recurrent episodes of Escherichia coli infection in the urinary tract, which presented with fever, myalgia, headache, and general malaise. Another discomfort consisted of prostate inflammation, since at night I woke up to urinate up to 8 times, and the prostate antigen kept rising with each new infection manifestation, from 3 to 18 ng/ml during the last event. At that time they prescribed me antibiotic for 3 months and the infection apparently subsided, but soon after I would present the same picture again and the treatment was repeated with a different and more potent antibiotic, until the doctor informed me that no antibiotic was capable of combating that pathogen. In fact, he proposed surgery through the urethra to eliminate the lesions caused by the infection. Those days the pandemic was declared and the operation and I can't believe it."
