After this initial hour, I took a break and allowed myself to rest for 2 hours. I repeated this process until I had consumed the entire liter. Additionally, I performed nasal washes using 5 ml of solution in 50 ml of water to help relieve my nasal congestion.

The cold symptoms persisted for approximately 24 hours, during which time I noticed a marked improvement. After the initial day of suffering, the following day saw a decrease in both the mucus and the intense headache that had been troubling me.
